Production / Subbing

Kate is a regular on the day-shift subbing circuit within business magazines and has worked for all the major magazine houses and for a wide variety of magazines.

She is experienced in subbing, proof-reading, laying out, passing pages and acting as chief-sub or production editor. She has dealt with printers, typesetters and repro houses as well as with all kinds of contributors, ranging from respected journalists to well-meaning amateurs and industry experts.

Wheal Associates is also equipped to work from our own office. We have Quark XPress running on an Apple Mac in the office and can produce supplements or brochures ready for the repro house.

Wheal Associates already produces Healthcare Finance ten times a year for the Healthcare Financial Management Association, FANzine, a quarterly for the Financial Advisory Network and newsletters for Southwark Council's housing department.
